In the whirlwind of life's changes and unexpected events, it's easy to veer off course from our routines. Whether it's a busy period at college, work or a vacation, getting back on track can feel like a daunting task. However, with the right mindset and strategies, it's entirely possible to reclaim your routine.

1.Reflect on Your Priorities: Take a moment to think on what matters most to you. Identifying your priorities will help you realign your routine to focus on what truly matters to you.

2. Start Small: Instead of overwhelming yourself with trying to tackle your entire routine at once, start small. Choose one or two habits or activities to reintroduce into your daily schedule. Whether it's waking up at a consistent time, or exercising, focusing on a few manageable tasks will build momentum and confidence.

3. Set SMART Goals: Set specific, achievable and relevant goals for yourself. Break down larger goals into smaller steps to make them seem more achievable. By setting small and smart goals, it becomes less daunting.

4. Establish a Daily Routine: Create a structured daily routine that includes your priorities and goals. Allocate specific times for activities such as work, exercise, meals, relaxation and sleep. Consistency is key to re-establishing your routine, so strive to stick to your schedule as much as possible.

5. Practice Self-Care: Make self-care a non-negotiable part of your routine. Schedule time for activities that recharge you, whether it's reading, meditating, taking a bath, or spending time outdoors. Taking care of your physical, mental, and emotional well-being is essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle as well as sticking to your routine.

6. Stay Flexible: While routines provide stability, it's important to remain flexible. Life is unpredictable, and there will always be times when your routine is disrupted. Instead of getting discouraged, embrace the opportunity to adjust and readjust as needed.

7. Monitor Your Progress: Regularly assess your progress towards getting back to your routine. Celebrate your victories, no matter how small, and identify areas for improvement. It is okay to take help of apps and journals to keep track of your progress.

Getting back to your routine is a journey that requires patience and perseverance. It is always better to start small, go slow and steady, no matter how big your endeavour is. Remember, it's never too late to take control of your routine and live your best life.
