How To Make Time For Things You love!

Amidst the constant hustle and bustle, it has become so hard to find time to work on things we love. Always jumping on to the next thing on our to-do lists and reliving the same things every other day. There doesn't seem to be an end to the feeling of urgency in our lives.

By the end of the week, we exhaust ourselves with the never-ending grind, feeling burnt out and spending the weekends getting away from the life we have instead of working on building a life we love. But little do we understand that making time for things we love to do is way more relaxing than lying on the bed for an entire day.

Making time for the things which excite us, which bring a sense of purpose and joy to us is crucial in our everyday lives. Speaking from personal experience I know that it is hard sometimes, to find those five minutes to meditate or those ten minutes to read a few pages of your favorite book. But as they say,' You'll always make time for the things you love '. Maybe not immediately but eventually you will find the time.

But the major question is HOW?

Here are a few things you could do to make more time in your day:

> Plan your week ahead (take half an hour to do this on a Sunday).

>Wake up a little early (15 minutes also makes a huge difference).

> Prioritize the things on your to-do.

> List only 5-6 important things you want to finish for the day (keep some free time for yourself).

> START. This is so simple yet crucial, if you don't start somewhere, you won't get anywhere. Start taking out five minutes of me-time daily and you'll soon figure it out.

The "happy hormones" in our body seem to agree with me too. Dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin are the major happy hormones that get released inside our brains when we do something we enjoy. Exercising, dancing. singing or listening to the songs we like stimulates a good feeling in our system a.k.a the happy hormones.

Another long list of reasons why you need to make time for things you love are:

> Calms your body and mind.

> Brings in a sense of confidence.

> Drastic change in mood.

> Boosts your productivity in other activities.

> Increases your focus.

Now you have nothing stopping you from painting that picture or completing that book or attending that dance class. Get going!

WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY.
